Location: Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, Monterey, California
Purpose: The mechanisms regulating blood vessel growth, homeostasis, and regression are a subject of intense clinical interest for cancer and ischemia, but many of the insights leading to therapeutic targets have come from basic research. This is a meeting designed to promote a scientific dialogue at the intersection between developmental biology and vascular biology. It brings together many of the leading researchers studying the formation of the vascular system in a variety of different model organisms.
