The Joint Symposium - Frontiers in 21st Century Biomedical Science

November 6-7, 2006
Sponsored by the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS); Division of Intramural Research (DIR), NICHD; Fogarty International Center (FIC), NIH; and NIH Office of the Director for Intramural Research

Location: Masur Auditorium, NIH Clinical Center
Purpose: To highlight basic and translational research by leading Japanese and U.S. scientists. The subjects will range from stem cell, genomics, and immunology to developmental biology. The goal of the symposium is to increase scientific interactions between the two countries and promote global progress in biomedical research.
