Location: Natcher Conference Center, NIH Campus
Purpose: Thus trans-NIH conference will highlight behavioral and social science research on three broad areas of action through which health disparities can potentially be addressed: policy, prevention, and healthcare. It emphasizes both basic research on the behavioral, social, and biomedical pathways giving rise to disparities in health and applied research on the development, testing, and delivery of interventions to reduce disparities in these three action areas. The two-day conference will be followed by a third agenda-setting meeting involving 50-60 invited participants.
