Martha Lubet

Dr. Lubet earned her Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas and her B.S. from University of Tennessee.

After graduate school, she was a postdoctoral fellow at NCI. She did her graduate and postdoctoral research on genetic control of the immune response.

After her postdoctoral fellowship, she worked at a small biotech company, where she continued her studies in immunology, including studies on the immune response to HIV and development of ELISA tests for aflatoxin, a fungal toxin.

She has also worked at the US Patent and Trademark Office and is a registered Patent Agent in biotechnology. Prior to joining TTB in the spring of 2003, she was Patent Advisor for a small biotech company.
