House Subcommittee on Education Reform Holds Hearing on Childhood Nutrition

On July 16, 2003, the House Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Education Reform (Representative Michael Castle [R-DE], Chairman) held a hearing entitled, "Food for Thought: How to Improve Child Nutrition Programs." Dr. Richard H. Carmona, Surgeon General, testified. Dr. Carmona was accompanied by Dr. Duane Alexander, Director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
