Biosketch:
Tonja R. Nansel, B.S.N., Ph.D., joined the Prevention Research Branch as a postdoctoral fellow in 1998, and has been a tenure-track investigator since 2001. She earned her doctorate from Wichita State University. Her primary research interest is in the management of diabetes in children and their families. Her research focuses on the integration of prevention and health promotion intervention within the health care setting.
