- Primary Uses or Exposures: p -Chloro-o-Toluidine and its Hydrochloride Salt are used commercially to produce azo dyes for cotton, silk, acetate, and nylon and as intermediates in the production of Pigment Red 7 and Pigment Yellow 49.
