  • Basis for Nomination: First listed in the 1st RoC (1980) as reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen based on limited evidence in humans and sufficient evidence in animals. Reviewed in 1997 for possible upgrading of listing from reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen to known to be a human carcinogen based on IARC1 reclassification as carcinogenic to humans based on sufficient evidence in humans
  • Current Status: Listed in the RoC as known to be a human carcinogen since the 9th RoC (2000)
