Privacy Act Notification Statement

To inform teachers, students, and the public about new and updated materials, programs, and training opportunities, the Office of Science Education (OSE) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is constructing a correspondence database. 5 U.S. 301 and 44 U.S. 3101 authorize collection of this information. The database will be accessed as needed by NIH staff in the course of their duties and may be disclosed to other Government agencies or courts if determined to be relevant and necessary to litigation involving the Department of Health and Human Services. The information may also be used by NIH to document, track, monitor, and evaluate NIH programs and activities.
