Note:

• The Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study – or the DPPOS (2002 - present) – is a follow-up to the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP).

• Most of the DPP participants continue to be followed closely in the DPPOS to examine the longer-term impact of the original treatment interventions. This will provide further information regarding the impact of lifestyle intervention on the incidence of cardiovascular disease complications.
