Goals and Objectives of Meeting:
The National Cancer Institute (NCI), the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), and the NIH Office of Rare Diseases (ORD) announce a meeting focusing on nutrient sensing and insulin signaling pathways, particularly as they relate to the Hamartoma Syndromes: Tuberous Sclerosis, Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome, and Cowden's Syndrome. Sessions will include clinical and basic studies on Hamartoma Syndromes, insulin signaling, and mammalian Target of Rapamycin (mTOR), and nutrient sensing.
Travel awards will be available to hot topics speakers selected from poster abstracts.
