The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) announce a meeting focusing on the current state of research and clinical treatments, both in the United States and internationally, with a look toward the future frontiers in this field.
The meeting is intended to expand scientific awareness of interstitial cystitis and its treatments, to provide a forum for discussion of the definition and etiology of interstitial cystitis and painful bladder syndrome, and to exchange information and ideas on current and contemplated research on and treatments of the disease and its symptoms.
Plenary talks, selected short talks, and a poster session will provide a forum for interactions among investigators working across these areas.
