H.R. 2520The Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005
On May 23, 2005, Representative Christopher Smith (R-NJ) introduced H.R. 2574, the Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005. The bill to provide for the collection and maintenance of human cord blood stem cells for the treatment of patients and research, and to amend the Public Health Service Act to authorize the C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program. H.R. 2520 was referred to the House Energy and Commerce.
