H.R.6—The Energy Policy Act of 2005

On April 18, 2005, Representative Joe Barton (R-TX) introduced H.R. 6, the Energy Policy Act of 2005. A bill to ensure jobs for our future with secure, affordable, and reliable energy. H.R. 6 was referred to the House Agriculture, House Education and the Workforce, House Energy and Commerce, House Financial Services, House Resources, House Science, House Transportation and Infrastructure, House Ways and Means, House Rules Committees.

PRESIDENTIAL ACTION

August 8, 2005 - The President signed H.R. 6 as P.L. 109-058.
