Smith, former Deputy Director, NLM, gave the 2007 Joseph Leiter MLA/NLM Lecture - "Laws, Leaders and Legends of the Modern NLM" - at the Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association in Philadelphia. The lecture is named in honor of NLM's first Associate Director for Library Operations. In response to popular demand, Kent has agreed to reprise the Lecture. |
