H.R. 1863—National Pain Care Policy Act of 2003

On April 29, 2003, Representative Mike Rogers (R-MI) introduced H.R. 1863, the National Pain Care Policy Act of 2003. The bill would establish a National Center for Pain and Palliative Care Research at NIH. H.R. 1863 was referred to the House Committees on Energy and Commerce, on Ways and Means, on Armed Services, and on Veterans Affairs. (For similar legislation, refer to H.R. 2507.)
