Delegating/Revoking SO Submit Authority

The Signing Official (SO) of the grantee institution may delegate or remove submit authority to or from a Principal Investigator (PI). PIs who receive submit authority from the SO can then submit those eSNAP grants for which they are the PI to the NIH.

The PI whose submit authority is removed can no longer submit any eSNAP grants to the NIH.

SOs may select multiple PIs from the hit list to either delegate to or remove from submit authority.

Note: You must have the role of an SO in order to delegate or revoke submit authority. Delegated Signing Official authority is not sufficient.
