AUSTIN, Texas – Contractors interested in learning how to prepare bids and proposals to do business with the federal government following Hurricane Ike have a chance to attend a free class sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Galveston County Small Business Development Center.

The workshop, “Bid and Proposal Preparation,” will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Galveston County Small Business Development Center, 8419 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, Texas City, TX 77591.
