San Antonio, TX -- More than 280 affected individuals of the recent Central Texas flooding have registered for assistance through FEMA's toll-free registration line today with total registrations of more than 8,500.

Atascosa 69; Bandera 725; Bexar 2,804; Blanco 50; Brown 185; Caldwell 7; Comal 873; Eastland 27; Frio 42; Gillespie 76; Goliad 21; Gonzales 39; Guadalupe 474; Hays 106; Karnes 53; Kendall 276; Kerr 649; La Salle 49; Medina 295; Real 55; Taylor 930; Travis 92; Uvalde 522; Wilson 99.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has issued 4,182 home and 1,499 business applications with more than $458,600 in approved loans.

FEMA Disaster Housing has received more than 6,500 applications and approved nearly $5,000,000.

There have been 4,406 home inspections returned to FEMA. There are 122 inspectors in the field.

The Mobile Emergency Response Support (mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) stationed at 2609 South 7th Street in Abilene will move Monday to Jim Ned Elementary School, 665 Pine Street, Buffalo Gap for three days, July 15-17. It will remain in Abilene until operations move into the Old Senior Citizen Center, 2609 South 7th St. at 1 p.m. Sunday July 14. As of today, there are eight s (DRC) open in the declared disaster area. They are located at Millers Pond Community Center on 6075 Old Pearsall Road, San Antonio; Joe Ward Community Center at 435 E. Sunshine, San Antonio; 203 W. Court in Seguin; Trinity Baptist Church, 800 Jackson Rd, Kerrville; Post Office Building, Pecan and Main, Bandera; 1914 FM 2673, Canyon Lake; 651 Business Loop I-35 Ste 1030, New Braunfels.
