Purpose
To enable intramural investigators to apply for some NIH grants,
e.g.,
K22, fellowships,
Roadmap (X01), etc.
Procedure
Before submitting a grant application -- whether electronic Grant
Application Package or paper PHS
398 application --
intramural investigators must register with the eRA Commons and obtain a username.
Once investigators have a Commons account, they can monitor
the progress and status of their application, see their summary
statement, and submit just-in-time information.
To submit an electronic application through Grants.gov,
investigators must work with an authorized
organizational representative (AOR). For more information, see
the Grant Application, Electronic SOP.
Investigators should email NIAIDGETGRANT@niaid.nih.gov to identify grants for which they are eligible
and to learn about application requirements before beginning
the
process.
