NIAMS Introduces Easy-to-Read Health Information on Bones, Muscles, Joints, and Skin in English, Spanish, and Chinese CD-ROM

The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health (NIH), is offering Easy to Read Health Information on Bones, Muscles, Joints, and Skin in English, Spanish, and Chinese on a CD-ROM.

This CD-ROM includes:

  • Patient education brochures in multiple languages
  • Web links to current clinical trials and numerous useful resources from NIH, other Federal agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

Topics include: acne, back pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, hip replacement, knee problems, osteoporosis, Paget's disease of bone, psoriasis, scoliosis, shoulder problems, and many other conditions of skin, muscles, joints, and bones.
