This website is a project of The CFIDS Association of America's youth program.
Growing up with a disabling disease like chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome (CFIDS) is always a challenge. Because most people don't know that children and teenagers can get CFIDS, it often takes years for them to be diagnosed. They face numerous obstacles as they fight for a healthy childhood and a quality education.
The CFIDS Association of America's youth program is working to improve the lives of young persons with CFIDS by providing emotional and educational support, coping tips and medical information to them and their families. We're also helping pediatricians, family practitioners, school nurses and teachers learn how to recognize pediatric CFIDS and how to help kids who have it.
Your support is needed! We invite you to learn about CFIDS in Youth and to join us as an advocate for young people with this disease. Write to us at the address below for more information on how you can help.
