The Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP) is pleased to announce its 38th Annual Meeting & National Health Conference, scheduled for July 22- 26, 2009 at the Westin Alexandria, Alexandria, VA. Please save the dates.

The AAIP Annual Meeting will open with the Presidential Reception on the evening of Wednesday, July 22, 2009, and will conclude with the closing luncheon in the early afternoon of Sunday, July 26th, 2009. A pre-conference workshop for undergraduate and graduate students preparing for the application process to a health professional school is scheduled for the evening of Monday, July 20th through Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009.

The 2009 AAIP Annual Meeting & National Health Conference will take place at the Westin Alexandria, 400 Courtyard Square, Alexandria, VA 22314, (703) 253-8600, located 5.7 miles from Regan National Airport. To take advantage of the special AAIP rates, please book your reservation by 6/29/09. After this date, the AAIP room block will be released and rooms may only be available at higher rates.

All rates are subject to an 11.5% sales tax and a $1 occupancy tax. (Subject to change) Extra person charge is $10 a night. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or check. Credit cards will be charged a deposit equal to one night’s stay to hold each individual’s reservation.
