How do I set Bookmarks and Notes?

After you retrieve a document from your search results, you can set Bookmarks and Notes to save repetitive searching and speed up future retrieval for the same document. In this Quick Tip, designed and developed by Library Services' Instructional Design and Training Division for Cataloging Distribution Service, you will learn how to set Bookmarks and Notes in 3-4 minutes.

Note: You may navigate through the tutorial by clicking the arrows above, or on the places indicated on the images. You may return to Cataloger's Desktop at any time by clicking on the Cataloger's Desktop banner at the top of your screen.

In this scenario, we will select the Descriptive Cataloging Manual Public Sections and search for the terms "electronic resources" and CD-ROM.

To start the tutorial, click on the Search tab.
