House Select Committee on Homeland Security Holds Hearing on Bioshield

On May 15, 2003, the House Select Committee on Homeland Security (Representative Christopher Cox [R-CA], Chairman) held a hearing on "Bioshield: Countering the Bioterrorist Threat." Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, testified on "the scientific challenges of defending against a bioterrorist attack and how to effectively address these challenges."
