Representative Bilirakis Holds Hearing on Project Bioshield

On March 27, 2003, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health (Representative Michael Bilirakis [R-FL], Chairman) held a hearing on "Furthering Public Health Security: Project Bioshield." Secretary of HHS, Tommy Thompson, provided testimony on relevant activities of the Department. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, accompanied the Secretary and answered questions.
