I imported a hurricane region into a new computer and when I tried to run a probabilistic analysis, I got one of the following errors:
What should I do?
If you have never created a study region in the same state where the imported study region exists, you may get an error similar to the errors listed above. This occurs because the probabilistic wind speed data file for your state (XX_HUR_50.bin) is missing.
To correct this problem, you can do any of the following:
If you have copied the state data DVD/CD to a local or network drive, browse to the appropriate state folder, and open the hu folder. For example, if the study region state is North Carolina, the folder will be "<DataFolder>:\NC1\hu" and the file to be copied will be NC_HUR_50.bin.
Copy the XX_HUR_50.bin file to the HAZUS-MH Hurricane data folder, <Drive>:\<...>\HAZUS-MH\Data\Hu\Windfield. For example, if HAZUS-MH is installed in the C:\Program Files folder, the destination path would be, C:\Program Files\HAZUS-MH\Data\Hu\WindField.
