Director Visits Alaska for Project Impact

PALMER, Alaska -- On Saturday, June 17, 2000 FEMA Director James Lee Witt will join Senator Ted Stevens, Matanuska Susitna Borough Mayor Darcie Salmon and a host of local government, business and community leaders to formally sign the Matanuska Susitna Borough Project Impact Memorandum of Agreement in Palmer, Alaska. Mat-Su Borough will join Anchorage and Kenai Peninsula Borough in this nation-wide initiative to change the way America deals with disasters.
