Biography

Dr. Gattinoni received his M.D. from the Universita' degli Studi of Milan, Italy. Following the completion of his residency in medical oncology at the Istituto Nazionale Tumori in Milan, he joined the NCI, NIH in 2003 and became staff scientist in 2008. His work has focused on the role of T-cell differentiation in adoptive immunotherapy and on the mechanisms of how cellular cytokine sinks control tolerance and immunity.
