Biography

Dr. Tandle received her Ph.D. degree from Tata Memorial Center at Mumbai University, India. She joined the Surgery Branch, NCI in 2002 as a visiting scientist. After completing her training, she joined the staff of the Surgery Branch as a Staff Scientist in 2007. Dr. Tandle has been mainly involved in developing tumor vasculature targeted gene therapy for human cancers. She is also involved in understanding molecular mechanism of an antiangiogenic protein, EMAP-II.
