Dowling Clinic
is the primary patient
research, patient
trials and therapeutic
apheresis facility at the Clinical Center. It was named for
Regina Dowling, the clinic's first nursing supervisor (now retired)
who was instrumental in the development of apheresis as a patient
care and research tool from its inception here at the NIH.
