First report of the President’s Cancer Panel to take a life span approach to describing cancer survivorship issues, focusing particularly on the post treatment period. Identifies issues common to people regardless of age at diagnosis and enumerates challenges specific to those diagnosed as children, adolescents and young adults, adults, and older adults. Drawn from testimony received at President’s Cancer Panel meetings conducted between May 2003 and January 2004, which included survivors, caregivers, health care providers, and advocates. 5/2004
