H.J. Res. 76—Continuing Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2004

On November 7, 2003, the President signed into law H.J. Res. 76 as P.L. 108-107, a joint resolution making continuing appropriations for Fiscal Year (FY) 2004, through midnight November 21. This stopgap spending bill is the third for FY 2004. H.J. Res 76 was introduced on November 4 by Representative C.W. “Bill” Young, Chairman, House Committee on Appropriations; passed the House on November 5 by a vote of 418 to 5; and passed the Senate on November 7 by Unanimous Consent.
