Delegations of Authority for approving organization changes are contained
in Chapter 1130, General Administration No. 7. The Division of Management
Support (DMS), Office of Management Assessment:
(1) implements policies and procedures in this area;
(2) coordinates review of request for organization changes requiring
approval of the director, NIH and/or the Office of the Secretary;
(3) issues standard administrative codes to new organizations;
(4) maintains copies of official NIH Organization Charts;
(5) maintains the NIH Organization Handbook and the NIH Organizational and
Functional Statements Manual.
