Search The Mitochondria Interest Group Database

The database may be searched to find rows matching a combination of search terms present in that row.

NOTE: because it searches for words which may appear as parts of other words, it may pull in additional entries. Eg. "mental" is part of "environmental".

Search the MigDB Database by specifying search terms below in a search expression. A term is a word without spaces and is case-independent. Each term is delimited by either AND or OR connectives (but not both). This search expression is then used to perform the search. Press the Return or Enter key after entering the search expression. You may also press the Search button to start the search.

How to participate and/or observe MIG functions in real time

Anyone wishing to teleconference with the MIG meetings needs to have video equipment that meets H.320 standards, which is the international standard for switched video, at a speed of 384KBPS. Their site needs to be certified by the NIH for the Departmental video bridge. To become certified the technical video personnel should contact the NIH personnel at 1-888-NIH-VIDEO (644-8433) and the site will be certified by setting up a test bridge call. Finally, contact the coordinator for approval of the connection (required by the video people).

MBONE ACCESS (NIH ONLY) The meetings are also broadcast on the Mbone network for NIH access only. In order to see this on your computer at all NIH locations look at the Mbone web site for setup details: (NIH MBone).

INTERNET ACCESS (WORLDWIDE): The meetings are also broadcast via Real Video on the internet. All that is needed is a web browser (with a high speed link) and the free software. Setup details and access are available at the (NIH videocast website). You should be able to view the meetings live (without interaction) during the session (times are Eastern [Standard or Daylight] Time), or you can view the archived RealVideo file at the same website later.
