National Toxicology Program

The NTP Board of Scientific Counselors Technical Reports Review Subcommittee (TRR Subcommittee) is a standing subcommittee of the NTP Board of Scientific Counselors ("the Board"). Subcommittee members also serve on the Board.

The TRR Subcommittee provides independent, scientific peer review for:

1. Long-term toxicology and carcinogenicity studies
2. Short-term toxicity study reports
3. Studies conducted in genetically modified animal models

Subcommittee members are assigned as principle reviewers of these reports. The TRR Subcommittee meets one or twice each year in public forums. This subcommittee also provides peer review by mail of short-term toxicity reports.
