Deposit Data in CEBS

CEBS Development Forum

We welcome good-quality data relating to environmental health, pharmacology, and toxicology. It is not necessary to have microarray data, but we do require study design and phenotypic anchoring.

Please contact us for additional information or with questions.

At the moment there are no publicly accepted standards for the exchange of study design, so we work with you to capture this information. Generally if you supply a study report or a publication we can create a draft for you to review in private mode in the CEBS loader. In collaboration with Health Canada, we are developing a more user-friendly interface for data capture.

We capture the data needed to display your study using the tools in CEBS, such as the study timeline / protocols, and subject groups and comparators. If you supply microarray data, CEBS requires the text files from instrument output, for instance Affymetrix .CEL, .CHP, .RPT and .EXP files; Agilent .txt files. We can support proprietary and custom array designs with information about the sequences on the array.

We respect intellectual property and also the desire to share data without invalidating IP claims. Thus it is possible to use CEBS to share data from arrays in which some of the probes are anonymized, or from tests of a compound which is not identified.
