- Patients who have undergone prior surgery or who have received chemotherapy are eligible
- Patients will be eligible regardless of performance score
- Patients who are unable to undergo an MRI are ineligible
- Patients who have received prior radiation are ineligible
Treatment Plan:
- This study includes the analysis of blood, urine and CSF (if available) to measure biological markers involved with angiogenesis, blood/brain barrier integrity and neurotoxicity
- Comprehensive MR imaging techniques and neuropsychological testing will be conducted in an effort to correlate changes with biomarker measurements
- Patients on this protocol will receive radiation therapy on a separate protocol as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Additional Information:
- This trial will be conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. It is open to patients who meet the eligibility requirements, regardless of where they live in the United States.
