1. Government Car: Call Dispatcher Motor Pool, 301-496-3426,
to reserve a Government car. Prepare a Vehicle Trip Ticket, form NIH-1382-2.
Secure necessary approvals and present to dispatcher. All incidental operators
of Government vehicles must have a valid state or D.C. driver’s
license; only regular operators of Government vehicles must have a valid
U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
2. If a government car is not available, make a request through your
Administrative Officer for permission to use a privately owned car or
other means of transportation.
3. For public transportation, contract shuttles; see schedules at information
desk, Clinical Center Lobby and Building 31-A.
