Media-Smart Youth: Eat, Think, and Be Active! Program Packet Media-Smart Youth: Eat, Think, and Be Active! Program Packet

Description:

Media-Smart Youth: Eat, Think, and Be Active! is an interactive after-school education program that helps young people ages 11 to 13 understand the complex media world around them and how it can influence their health, especially in regard to nutrition and physical activity. The program combines youth-development principles and practices with the most current research findings and recommendations about nutrition and physical activity. The Program Packet includes everything an activity leader needs to conduct the program: the facilitator's guide (available in PDF from this page), the video (VHS and DVD formats), and the program poster. The Program Packet is also part of the WE CAN! program. If you require a closed-captioned version of the video, please contact the NICHD Information Resource Center at NICHDInformationResourceCenter@mail.nih.gov.
