Ping Joined in Dr. Wang's lab in year 2000. Before her postdoctoral training, Ping was a paediatrician in China. Ping conducted her postdoctoral fellow training in National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) of the National Institutes of Health before joining in NCI.

Dr. Cabello-Villegas received his Ph.D. in year 2001 from the Rice University, TX. He joined in Dr. Wang's group in the same year. He then joined Professor Art Pardi’s group in University of Colorado, Boulder, CO., before pursuing a career in the imagine NMR in University of Texas, Austin.

Dr. Wu received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University, China, in year 2001. He joined in Dr. Wang's group as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same year and conducted the studies of the structural determination of the receptor associated protein (RAP) using NMR. Dr. Wu left Dr. Wang's group in 2003 for Univ. of North Carolina before becoming a Staff Scientist in the Northeast Structural
Genomics Consortium at the SUNY Buffalo, NY.

Dr. Walsh received his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the Johns Hopkins University in 2002. He then conducted a short postdoctoral research with Professor Ann-Frances Miller before joining in Dr. Wang's group as a Cancer Research Fellow. Dr. Walsh was a key contributor to the development of the "3P" program that uses the intrinsic correlations between the peptide plan orientations and in-plan residual dipolar couplings (RDC), and between the structural periodicity and the RDC periodicity. Dr. Walsh was an recipient of the NIH award for the Excellence in Research in 2004.

Dr. Lee conducted his Ph.D. research with Prof. Kirt Wuthrich before joined in Dr. Wang's group in 2005. Dr. Lee conducted the structural biology studies of the receptor associated protein (RAP) and its interaction with the low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein (LRP). He also performed the relaxation studies of the ribosome protein L11 in free, in the binary and ternary complexes with a 58mer rRNA and with the rRNA and thiostrepton, respectively. He was interviewed by several South Korean medium outlets for his research achievements in the RAP-LRP project. He is a research associate in Max-Planck Institute in Germany.

Dr. Jinbu Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Clark University in 2006. He joined in Dr. Wang's Lab in the Oct. of the same year. Jinbu has been instrumental in programing the "3P" software.

Dr. Zuo received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Northwestern University in 2002. He then conducted a postdoctoral fellow research in the X-ray scattering with Dr. Tielde in the Argonne National Laboratory. Dr. Zuo joined in Dr. Wang's lab in 2007 to develop a Combined Approach, using X-ray scattering and NMR data, to determine structures of large RNA molecules in solution.

Ms. Chelsea White is a Werner H. Kirsten student from Tuscarora High. She joined in my group this summer and will stay with us till the summer of the next year.
