On May 18, 2004, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations (Representative Jim Greenwood [R-PA], Chairman) held a hearing on Conflict of Interest Issues. Dr. Raynard Kington, Deputy Director, NIH; Dr. Anna Barker, Deputy Director for Strategic Scientific Initiatives, NCI; Dr. J. Carl Barrett, Director, Center for Cancer Research, NCI; and Dr. Lance Liotta, Chief, Laboratory of Pathology, Center for Cancer Research testified on behalf of NIH.
