The “caBIG™ Pilot Phase Report, 2003-2007: Executive Summary” is part of the National Cancer Institute’s overarching goal to connect the people, institutions, and data in the cancer community through caBIG™. This publication summarizes key findings contained in the 2007 report evaluating the three-year pilot phase of caBIG™ technology development, describes lessons learned, and includes plans for the deployment of caBIG™ technologies in laboratories and NCI-designated Cancer Centers throughout the country. 6/2008
