Mouse Orthologs of EGP Genes

Center for Rodent Genetics

Mouse-DNA graphic Through a cooperative effort with the scientific community, the NIEHS Environmental Genome Project (EGP)(http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/supported/programs/egp/index.cfm) identified 554 environmentally-responsive genes to be sequenced as a research priority. The NIEHS Center for Rodent Genetics has compiled a list of the mouse orthologs of the completed EGP genes to 1) facilitate comparison of the mouse and human genes and 2) aid in following the progress of the 15 mouse strain Resequencing and SNP Discovery Project as it relates to the sequencing of the mouse orthologs of the EGP genes.
