The 10th Congressional District of Illinois is situated north of Chicago along Lake Michigan. Made up of nearly 700,000 Americans, the Tenth District consists of the eastern section of Lake County and parts of northern Cook County.
The 10th District runs as far south as Wilmette and as far north as Waukegan.
The District stretches west to Inverness and east to the shores of Lake Michigan. Famous not only for its lakeside beauty, the 10th District is also recognized for its well-educated, independent minded citizens. The marvels of our district include the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Chicago Botanic Gardens in Glencoe and the Baha'i Temple in Wilmette.
The District is also home to numerous Fortune 500 companies, such as Baxter Healthcare, Abbott Laboratories, Allstate Insurance and Household International.
