National Cell Repository for Alzheimer’s Disease (NCRAD)
NCRAD collects and maintains biological specimens and associated data on large numbers of genetically informative, phenotypically well-characterized families with multiple individuals affected with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as individuals for case-control studies. Qualified research scientists may apply to NCRAD for samples and data to conduct genetic research.
Alzheimer's Disease Genetics Initiative
Background material on the AD Genetics Initiative, which is accelerating the search for genes involved in late onset AD. Biological specimens and associated data are stored at NCRAD for use by qualified research scientists.

National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC)
NACC facilitates collaborative research among the Alzheimer’s Disease Centers (ADCs) and maintains a Minimum Data Set with brief clinical and demographic information. In September, 2005, a Uniform Data Set with more detailed clinical data on all patients and control subjects enrolled in the NIA ADCs was implemented. Qualified research scientists may gain access to these databases by application to NACC.
Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI)
ADNI is carrying out a multisite, longitudinal, prospective, naturalistic study of normal cognitive aging, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and early Alzheimer's disease as a public domain research resource to facilitate the scientific evaluation of neuroimaging (MRI, PET), tissue samples (including DNA) and other biomarkers for the onset and progression of MCI and Alzheimer's disease.
Cognitive and Emotional Health Project (CEHP)
Description of the trans-NIH CEHP, including the full report of the Critical Evaluation Study Committee, related documents, a searchable database of epidemiological and large longitudinal studies, and a bibliography of publications relevant to factors for cognitive and emotional health in the adult, dating from 1966 to the present (bibliography currently under construction)
