On November 19, 2004, the National Institutes of Health issued a Program Announcement (PA), entitled “PA-05-015, Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research,” that is available at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-05-015.html. This Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NCI is amending its participation in that PA, as follows:

The Comprehensive Minority Biomedical Branch, Office of Centers, Training and Resources, National Cancer Institute (NCI), announces a change in the way Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research will be managed by the NCI. For fiscal year 2005 only, no supplement applications will be accepted by the NCI after June 1, 2005. In the future, related funding decisions will only be made twice a year, in March and July.
