A Clear Solution for Dirty Water A Clear Solution for Dirty Water

Tim Lougheed

Abstract

Worldwide, as many as 2 billion people drink water that could be harmful to their health because of the presence of parasites, bacteria, viruses, or heavy metals. Now household products company Procter & Gamble has added a new weapon to the point-of-use water treatment arsenal. As part of its Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program, the company has developed PUR™, a simple new method to purify drinking water.
