H. R. 3537 —The Taxpayers’ Cancer Research Funding Act of 2007

On September 14, 2007, Representative Peter King (R-NY) introduced H.R. 3537, the Taxpayers’ Cancer Research Funding Act of 2007. The bill would allow individuals to designate $5 on their tax returns to the Breast and Prostate Cancer Research Fund. Money from this fund would be used to pay for research approved and administered by NCI. H.R. 3537 was jointly referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce.
