Available Research Training and Career Development Programs

The NHLBI is committed to helping researchers establish independent careers. To this end, the Institute has posted a Web page listing resources available, entitled Commitment to New Investigators.

NHLBI has a variety of programs available at all career levels. These web pages serve as a guide to the NHLBI research training and career development programs. All individuals interested in pursuing biomedical or behavioral research careers in cardiovascular, pulmonary, or hematologic health and disease, sleep disorders, or transfusion medicine are invited and encouraged to read these program descriptions carefully and to discuss their questions and career goals with the appropriate NHLBI staff.
